This is the image for the news article titled Middle School Expectations for VAHS Football GamesDear Middle School Families,
The VAHS Wildcat Football team has four upcoming home games, September 11th and 18th and October 9th and 16th. Games start at 7pm and cost of admission for students is $3. Students should bring their middle school ID with them to the game.
We ask you to read and review the following expectations with your student to ensure everyone enjoys safe and fun evenings.
Note: If middle school students attend the game with their families, they may sit with and be supervised by their family with the expectation that students are in the stands with their
parents/guardians and not roaming other areas of the stadium.
If middle school students attend the game without their parents, they must sit in the supervised Middle School Section at the south end of the field. This is a designated space for students who attend VASD middle schools only. Elementary students and visitors from other middle schools are not permitted to sit in this section. Once students enter the middle school section, they will not be released until halftime. At the beginning of the second half, students must be back to the
supervised section and will not be released except to a parent until the last two minutes of the game. Students must remain seated and engage in positive cheering for the players on the field.
In the event that a student is disruptive, fails to follow directions or is disrespectful, parents will be contacted, the student will be required to leave the game and will not be permitted to attend future games.
Thank you for your support in making these Verona Area School District events fun and safe for everyone.
